Alchemical Fruit welcomes the following types of submissions:

Individual poems 35 lines or less* (up to 6 per submission)

*Poems of less than 35 lines are preferred. If you think a longer poem will truly impress us, you are free to give it a try.
You may submit both Art and Poetry. There are two separate submission forms.
Guidelines for Submission
Before submitting your work, it’s essential to familiarize yourself with the magazine's submission guidelines. Here are some key points to keep in mind:
Original Work: All submissions must be original and created by you.
Artwork should be free of any third-party copyrights or trademarks.
Poems cannot have been previously published. Publication to your own site or social media is acceptable. However, if your poetry is accepted by Alchemical Fruit, please edit your post to include a link to our literary magazine (as available) or tag our social media account.
For Artwork, No Branded Content: We cannot accept artwork based on or featuring existing intellectual property (IP). This includes, but is not limited to:
Characters from video games, movies, television, anime, books, or comics (e.g., fan art).
Real-world corporate logos, brand names, or distinct product designs.
Mascots, slogans, or proprietary stylistic designs belonging to other entities.
Poem Length: We prefer short works of 35 lines or less.
Formatting:
Poetry: Use standard formatting (10-12 point font), doc or docx file.
Artwork: jpeg/jpg and png file.
Submission Period: September 15, 2026 - November 30, 2026.

Look for an email: An email of your submission will verify that you have successfully submitted. No email? Give it a day, just in case it's slow. Then reach out -- AlchemicalFruit@gmail.com.
Step 3: Wait for a Response
After submitting, be prepared to wait for a response. The review process can take 8 weeks, so patience is key. Previously, we have waited for the deadline before reviewing work. Because many submitted before the deadline, we are reviewing this policy to determine what is most fair for our submitters. If your work is accepted, you will receive further instructions regarding publication.
