Why Publish with Us
Access to top illustrators
Great art is mandatory for a children's book. It's half the story. For poetry books, the art can be just as powerful if more subtle. Finding a great artist to work alongside your vision can be a struggle, but it doesn't have to be. We can help with this process, connecting you with a real artist and real art.
Effective editors
Did you know that there are different types of editors and edits? Do you know there are genre-specific style expectations that can make the difference between a great book and an amateur one? We do. Let our professional editors share their expertise with you.
Project management
There are so many moving parts in book development. Let us handle your project and keep it moving forward on time.
Formating, layout, and typesetting
We tailor every edition, from hardback, paperback, to ebook, with format-specific sizes, margins, and color profiles. Plus, we ensure rights-safe typesetting for each version.
Eco-conscious printing
We prioritize low-impact printing methods to ensure your literary work leaves a lasting impression, not a footprint.
Global distribution
We utilize the same global distributors as the Big Five publishing companies, paired with an expansive network of indie bookstores and international digital platforms.
Strategic marketing
Author websites, personal letters to local bookstores and venues, and hands-on marketing are just a few pieces of the marketing pie. We handle the behind-the-scenes work, too. Metadata, ISBN, LCCN, barcodes, BISAC codes, CIP Block, and more. We handle this for you.
Selective with works
We only choose books that we believe in. These books are books that we would have loved as children or books that we love as parents and teachers. If we chose your book, it is because we see something magical in it and we are willing to stand behind it.
Fair rights management
We believe in author empowerment. You retain significant creative control and receive competitive royalty rates that reflect your hard work.
